A's recruitment and selection policy ensures the best possible skill mix of colleagues and the highest quality candidates are appointed using objective job-related criteria.Senior Cyber Catastrophe AnalystOffering a unique role within a collaborative team environment, your day could look like:Leverage cyber risk and reinsurance models to generate and articulate modelling output and portfolio insights for clientsWork closely with brokers and actuaries to support client relationships via creating and delivering presentations, maintaining touchpoints and understanding reinsurance needsSupport team efforts to develop, automate and maintain our global data sets and suite of analytics offerings, including opportunity to take on ownershipUnderstand and stress test various cyber vendor models and contribute to the development an Aon view of the current modelling landscapeWork closely with global team members including the US to maintain a coordinated strategy and global best practicesKeep abreast of developments within the cyber (re)insurance market and the cyber risk landscapeResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Cyber Catastrophe Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:Prior experience with end-to-end catastrophe modellingExperience with cyber catastrophe models (CyberCube, Moody's RMS, Guidewire) is advantageous but not essentialPassion for delivering value to clientsProven attention to detail and problem-solving skills, including ability to apply existing knowledge to novel challengesAbility to work effectively as part of a highly dynamic and collaborative teamAbility to handle significant workflow and be reactive to clients' needs and prioritiesFamiliarity with a coding language is highly beneficial (e.g. VBA, Python, SQL, R)How we support our colleaguesIn addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
