Pertemps are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join a well-established drinks distribution company based near Farnborough. This is a temporary to permanent contract you will temp for 12 weeks then be offered a permanent contact performance dependant.
More about the Role
- £17ph PAYE
- Start time Between 5am - 7am
- 10- 15 drops per day (average of 10 hours per shift)
- Monday to Friday
- Permanent salary of £43,000 per annum for the right candidate
- £25 gift voucher to spend on company products every month, along with access to discounts to other large retailers
You will be responsible for the delivery of Beers, Wines and soft drinks to customers around the region
Duties as a Class 2 HGV Driver:
- Delivering goods and stock to customers
- 10 – 15 drops a day, planned 24 hours in advance to give optimum route planning
- Manual handling to unload deliveries at site (training is provided)
- Building a good relationship with the customers
- Ensuring deliveries are delivered in a timely and professional manner
- Will need to work 3 Saturdays over December to help with Christmas Period
Requirements for this Class 2 HGV Driving role:
- UK Driving Licence (Max. 6pts)
- AT least 1 year experience driving Class 2 Vehicles
- HGV Class 2 Qualification
- CPC/Digi Tacho
- Must be physically fit for this role as heavy lifting will be involved on deliveries
- Safety Boots & Hi-Vis (Provided if needed)
