Discipline: Occupational Hygiene Consultant Our client is a well-established and growing occupational hygiene consultancy who offer a wide range of occupational hygiene and environmental health and safety services to national clients. They are currently recruiting for an experienced and knowledgeable Occupational Hygienist to join their team based in the London area. The ideal candidate will come from a strong occupational hygiene background and will be fully conversant with relevant health & safety policies and procedures and will be experienced in carrying out compliance assessments such as air monitoring, LEV examination and emissions testing. Applications from Hertford, Milton Keynes, Luton, Hemel Hempstead, and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience: Will be a qualified, experienced Occupational Hygienist- ideally holding BIOH/IOA or equivalent qualifications with significant consultancy experience. Holding a qualification in general Health & Safety (eg – NEBOSH Certificate) would be beneficial. Well versed with Health & Safety procedures. Competent with Microsoft office package. Ability to develop positive working relationships. Front line/customer-facing experience. Key Responsibilities: Undertaking a broad range of occupational hygiene related projects such as workplace assessments including air monitoring, COSHH assessments, noise, fumes, dust and hand-arm vibration surveys, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination and testing indoor air quality. Liaise with the company’s clients on a regular basis. Managing projects and contracts effectively. Emissions Testing. Site Assessments. Building and maintaining a professional working relationship with clients. Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
