Overview We are looking for a Band 6 wound care podiatrist to support the podiatry department and acute foot multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver specialist foot care as part of the multidisciplinary foot team at the Royal Free Hospital. Responsibilities Deliver specialist foot care as part of the multidisciplinary foot team. Triage patients into defined clinical pathways both internally and externally. Apply advanced wound care techniques, including total contact casting and negative pressure therapy. Manage clinical emergencies and cope with high stress in a busy environment. Demonstrate clinical governance, audit, risk management, safeguarding and evidence based practice. Qualifications Post registration experience in diabetes, vascular disease and other acute foot conditions. High level understanding of clinical governance, audit, risk management and safeguarding. Ability to cope with and manage clinical emergencies. Motivated and able to positively manage stress in a demanding environment.
