Hr Advisor Company: IMServ Location: Milton Keynes, England, United Kingdom Base pay range To be determined based on skills and experience. Discuss with recruiter. Purpose of the role Provide professional HR support for the entire employee life cycle, adhering to legislation, assessing commercial risk, and sharing best practice across the business. Act as the first point of service for all management, escalating to HRD when required, and liaise with all management to adhere to service level agreements across HR functions (recruitment, ER, LTS, turnover statistics). Main Responsibilities Provide advice and support during disciplinary, grievance, appeal, and redundancy procedures. Manage the long‑term sickness absence process, including referrals to occupational health, reviewing medical reports, and advising managers on next steps. Work with the HR Director to manage, review and update all HR policies and procedures. Review sickness and absence processes and support management in leading these processes. Review the performance management process and support management in leading it. Identify continuous improvement opportunities, conduct process mapping, and implement recommendations across the business. Collaborate with the Head of Learning and Development to review line‑manager development and deliver training on people processes. Build reports within the HRIS and use Excel to deliver data dashboards for management. Support the HR Director with data dashboards for HR activity and insights for people‑related decision making. Support monthly reporting to Executive and Senior Stakeholders (with HR Assistant). Complete annual gender pay reporting requirements. Support the Induction process improvements. Manage projects as approved by HR Director, including HRIS implementation and rewards/benefits platform. Ensure all people‑related audit actions are maintained and reported accurately. Person Specification Sound knowledge and practical application of current UK employment law procedures and processes. CIPD Level 5 qualification. Familiarity with ISO processes (desirable). Experience in the energy sector (advantageous). Experience running or supporting HR projects. Strong organisational capability, ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload.
