OverviewScaffolding / Health & Safety Instructor – Permanent contract, Newcastle, UK.3t is looking to recruit a Scaffolding / Health & Safety Instructor on a permanent basis. 3t Training Services is a leading provider of training for the oil and gas, wind and power industries, with a global reach across 60 countries. The role delivers 3t’s approved courses in the given subject area at 3t training centres in a consistent, professional manner that reflects 3t’s integrity and culture.ResponsibilitiesDeliver courses as required in line with 3t and accrediting body requirementsSupport customers during course delivery as appropriateObtain positive customer feedback following course completion in line with KPIs in the personal development planParticipate in standardisation and continuing professional development events as requiredProvide support to trainee and existing Instructor/Assessors as appropriateSupport department growth through technical input to new courses, training standards, customer meetings and continual improvement of existing coursesDemonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the EnvironmentApply 3t and where appropriate client’s HSE Policies and ProceduresEnsure that all 3t quality and operational procedures are adhered to at all timesMaintain and embrace ownership of departmental policies and proceduresThe PersonProvide technical coaching / professional guidance, and assist in the development of othersDemonstrate a calm and systematic approachConvey information fluently, interpreting and clarifying details and explaining rationaleSelect and use the best method of communication to ensure understandingAdvise and guide othersUse a wide range and depth of technical or specialised knowledge, providing technical leadership and expert advice to othersWork to develop team spirit and cooperationProvide meaningful feedback on a regular, ongoing basisDemonstrate excellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to cope with competing demands and prioritise tasksQualificationsNEBOSH National General CertificateLevel 3 teacher training and assessor’s awardAssessor AwardCISRS Advanced Card holder (10+ years)Level 3 First Aid at WorkCourses Initially Required To DeliverCISRS suite of scaffolding courses including CPD, COTS, BSI, ASI, Part 1, Part 2, Advanced etcRelevant ECITB trade, technical and knowledge testsOther scaffolding related short courses as requiredJob Types: Full-time, Permanent #J-18808-Ljbffr
