About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Service Engineer to join our client's service team

In this role, you should have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical aspects, specifically with prior experience working on heavy-duty goods vehicles. A comprehensive understanding of engines and related drive train components is essential.

The role will require occasional travel along the Bristol to London corridor, and on rare occasions international trips. This is a remarkable opportunity to work for a leading company in the industry, offering excellent prospects for career progression and ongoing training for the appointed Engineer

Your Role and Responsibilities:
  1. Attending Customer Sites to diagnose and repair faults
  2. Inspection of incoming and outgoing vehicles
  3. Removal and refit of parts on-site and in-house
Your Skills and Abilities:
  1. Relevant experience working on HGV's, RCV's or PSV's
  2. Mechanical / Electrical Engineering qualification
  3. Prior experience with fault finding on 12/24V Vehicle systems and 3 – Phase motors
  4. Service / Vehicle / Automotive / HGV / Drive Systems
