Job Title 0.5 Lecturer in Construction - Multi Skills Location Blackburn, England, United Kingdom Salary £27,185 to £41,014 per annum Hours 18.5 per week Responsibilities As a Lecturer you'll be part of a curriculum team, contributing to the growth and development of the Construction programs within the Technical Centre. This includes focusing on retention, achievement, and student success, alongside pastoral support, curriculum design/development, and ensuring a high standard of quality provision is offered. Using a range of learning styles, you'll take responsibility for your quality of teaching and related curriculum development that meets learner needs. You'll assess and record learners' progress according to procedures set out by the appropriate awarding body, while liaising with internal and external bodies, including award‑winning examination boards. You'll teach on a range of courses at level 1 to level 3 including full‑time, part‑time and apprentices. Qualifications Qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with experience of working in the Construction sector. Ideally hold a PGCE or another recognised teaching qualification; applicants without prior experience in the education sector who possess relevant and transferable skills are welcome. Relevant assessment qualifications (TAQA/A1) and evidence of continual personal development. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population.
