Nursery Practitioner Needed – Wallsend Are you a dedicated and caring Nursery Practitioner with a passion for early years development? A friendly and supportive nursery setting in Wallsend is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic practitioner to join their team. If you have a strong understanding of the EYFS and a commitment to creating a safe, nurturing environment for young children, we’d love to hear from you Job Type: Temporary/supply position, with potential for ongoing work Location: Wallsend Hours: Flexible shifts available – term‑time only Support children’s development in line with the EYFS framework Deliver age‑appropriate, engaging, and stimulating activities Work closely with the nursery team to meet individual needs Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and independence Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (or equivalent) Previous experience working in an early years setting Strong understanding of the EYFS framework Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Friendly, flexible, and professional approach All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
