Job DescriptionPrivately owned and UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is currently recruiting for a Dual Qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their Scotland office. Working across commercial and industrial contracts you will be delivering a range of specialist asbestos management services to prestigious clients across the North West. Candidates must hold both the P402 and P403/4 and be happy to carry out both analytical and surveying duties.LocationConsideration will be given to candidate in and around the North West area, including: Preston, Blackburn, Burnley, Chorley, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Leigh, Oldham, St Helens, Warrington, Manchester, Stretford, Stockport, Liverpool, Ellesmere Port, Northwich, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Crewe, Chester, and areas with good access to the M6 / M62 area.ExperienceBOHS P402 / P403 / P404 or equivalent RSPH qualification.Happy to carry out both asbestos surveying and air monitoring duties.Good working knowledge of HSG 248 & HSG 264.Full driving licence and happy to travel within the role.Flexible attitude.ResponsibilitiesUndertake Management, Refurbishment, Demolition and Reinspection surveys to Commercial & Industrial properties & sites.Conduct 4‑stage clearances.Carry out smoke, background, leak, re‑occupation, and personal air testing.Undertake visual inspections of asbestos enclosures.Supervision of removal projects.Collect site data using TEAMS / TRACKER software.Undertake independent audits of contractors’ removal / remediation work.Liaise with clients and provide specialist consultancy advice.About Future SelectFuture Select are the leading market supplier for recruitment in the Asbestos industry; we work with the best clients and candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the asbestos market.
