About the Role We’re offering an incredible opportunity to join our established residential service at Cartref Mynydd as a Support Worker. What You’ll Be Doing Ensuring physical and emotional needs are met in a supportive and caring environment. Providing support during recreational activities, outings and community integration. Promoting independence, self‑esteem, confidence and celebrating achievements and milestones. Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents. General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation. We’re looking for someone with heart, drive and a true commitment to supporting others. You’ll Need A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships. Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs. A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team. Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication. Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts. A driving licence is essential. Note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and will require an enhanced DBS with barred list check. Benefits Fully paid induction and ongoing training.
