Role Description The Senior Credit Controller will be responsible for managing and improving the company's credit control processes, ensuring timely recovery of debts, and maintaining a sound financial position. This position is full‑time and based on‑site in our Head Office in Carlisle. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include monitoring outstanding debts, issuing invoices and statements, negotiating payment terms, liaising with clients to resolve payment issues, and preparing financial reports, budget and cashflow forecasting for senior management. The Senior Credit Controller will also support decision‑making by providing insights into outstanding debtors and cash flow management along with company overheads and expenses. Qualifications Strong expertise in Credit Control, Credit Management, and Debt Collection Experience in managing Debtors and ensuring effective finance processes Analytical skills to monitor and report on financial data Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage time effectively Familiarity with financial software and tools Previous experience in a similar role and a background in finance are advantageous Relevant certifications in finance or credit management are desirable Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Accounting / Auditing and Finance Industries Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
