Lecturer in Computer Science (Games) University of Brighton – School of Architecture, Technology and Engineering Location: Brighton – Moulsecoomb Salary: £41,064 to £48,822 per annum Closing Date: Tuesday 16 December 2025 Interview Date: To be confirmed Reference: TE3194-25-266 Overview We invite applications for a full‑time Lecturer to join our vibrant Computing department. The role focuses on delivering engaging teaching in Game Development, supervising final year projects, and contributing to research and professional development. Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules on Game Development and related subjects. Supervise final year projects and guide students through real‑world challenges. Serve as a personal tutor, providing pastoral support and guidance. Contribute to the development and delivery of courses in Computer Science and related areas. Engage in quality research, consultancy or knowledge exchange activities relevant to the School. Support the School’s inclusive and collaborative environment. Qualifications A good degree in Game Development or a closely related discipline. Up‑to‑date knowledge of 3D Modelling, Animation, Unity, Unreal Engine and C++ programming. Demonstrated commitment to high‑quality learning and teaching across all levels of Higher Education. Experience of, or potential to develop, quality research, consultancy or knowledge exchange activity. Relevant industrial or professional experience and membership of, or working towards, relevant professional bodies (preferred). Experience of, and potential to develop, passage to independent and independent teaching qualifications (preferred).
