Responsibilities Contribute individually & lead junior BAs to contribute to successful engagement delivery and high‑quality client deliverables. Lead the elicitation and documentation of business requirements through workshops and interviews. Lead the elicitation and documentation of detailed acceptance criteria and detailed functional design artefacts. Lead the assessment and documentation of business processes to assist in the design of the target state for a technical solution. Support clients with business activities including requirements gathering, process definition, industry best practices and project planning. Work within diverse teams to deliver measurable business outcomes within quality and time‑scales. Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels & geographies across all business workstreams including Operations, Risk and IT, as well as internal project stakeholders such as developers, testers and UI/UX teams. Lead business development work such as pre‑sales, bid preparation and client presentations. Participate in internal Deloitte practice development activities to assist the growth of the insurance practice and the Industry Solutions division, including supporting the firm’s commitment to a more diverse and inclusive culture. Be open to continuing education to stay updated on the latest skill sets and certifications. Qualifications Experience gained within a leading insurer, broker, insurance technology or consulting firm with a track record of high performance and success in complex and high‑impact roles. Experience in an insurance technology environment or in designing & delivering an insurance platform application. Understanding of insurance process and technology change in areas such as: general insurance processes, reporting and governance across quote, placement, underwriting, policy administration, billing, claims, accounts/finance & risk management. Knowledge of London Market specific processes, reporting and governance. Knowledge of outward & inward reinsurance underwriting, accounting and claims. Basic understanding of key insurance business processes across the value chain or at least one line of business. Interest in emerging technology and trends in insurance and financial services. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management & conflict resolution skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading consulting bids, e.g. responding to RFI/RFP, and developing industry relationships. Industry certifications such as Business Analysis certification (Foundation/Practitioner/Professional/Consultant) from BCS, IIBA, PMI PBA, or equivalent. Experience implementing AI‑driven solutions within the general insurance lifecycle (claims automation, fraud detection, risk assessment, etc.) highly desirable.
