Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer – Leeds / Hybrid, 3 days per week from home £60,000 - £70,000 + bonus, 35-hour work week and great benefits This successful company with multi‑billion‑pound yearly turnover is on the market for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their established IT team in Leeds. As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will architect, implement and maintain IT infrastructure solutions across hybrid cloud and on‑premises environments. Responsibilities This Infrastructure role will require you to manage complex environments while maintaining high availability, security, and performance standards across all infrastructure components. Design and maintain hybrid infrastructure solutions. Implement and manage Azure cloud services. Ensure operational excellence across all infrastructure components. Keep up to date with the latest technologies and determine new technology solutions that meet business and system requirements. Work in a hybrid setting, with a few days per week based in Leeds. Package Bonus potential 35-hour work week with flexible working 25 days holiday + 5 days ‘study leave’. Desired Technical Skills VMware and Windows Server environments Azure cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, security, and hybrid connectivity (e.g., VPN, Azure Arc). Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform Azure DevOps Scripting languages like PowerShell and Python Azure certifications are highly desirable The company has an excellent reputation within their sector and has shown consistent growth since its inception.
