Accounting & Finance Lecturer Department: Academic/Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) Location: London, Greenford Type of Contract: Full‑time, Permanent (40 hours per week). Vision: Changing lives through education. The Role We are seeking Lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility is required to deliver on weekdays, evenings and weekends. Responsibilities Plan, deliver and assess student work, ensuring all learning outcomes are met. Develop, update and improve course materials. Use a variety of learning and teaching methods and materials. Actively engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties. Stay up to date with developments in the field and student support practices. Work toward objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression. Qualifications Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable). Previous UK HE lecturing experience in a related subject area. Extensive knowledge of the subject matter. Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback. Accurate reporting and organised record‑keeping. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills. Ability to work with diverse groups of people. Desirable Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol during probationary period). Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy or international equivalent. Experience designing/developing academic or professional education programmes or equivalent.
