SEN Teacher – Specialist Provision (Primary)

Teach Now is thrilled to be recruiting a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher for a thriving specialist provision attached to a warm and welcoming Church of England primary school in the heart of Edmonton. This is a unique opportunity to join a nurturing environment where inclusion, community, and compassion are at the centre of everything they do.

The school is multicultural, inclusive, and deeply rooted in its Christian ethos, creating a supportive atmosphere where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. Their vision—shared by staff, pupils, and families—focuses on ensuring every learner feels understood, supported, and inspired.

About the Role

You will lead a small, high-needs SEN class of just seven children, supported by an experienced HLTA, allowing you to tailor learning, build meaningful relationships, and make a measurable impact every day. The class includes pupils from KS1 to Year 6, all with complex needs, requiring a teacher with creativity, patience, and a deep understanding of the SEN curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with SEN frameworks

• Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment

• Work closely with support staff to meet individual learning, sensory, and emotional needs

• Implement EHCP targets and track pupil progress effectively

• Develop strong partnerships with families and the wider school community

• Model the school’s values and contribute positively to its inclusive ethos

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced SEN Teacher with strong curriculum knowledge

• Compassionate, patient, and committed to high-quality inclusive education

• Skilled at supporting children with complex needs across multiple age groups

• Ready to contribute to a vibrant, caring, community-focused school

If you are driven by purpose and passionate about transforming lives through education, we would love to hear from you.
