This lovely family based in Andover, Hampshire, is seeking a long-term Live-in Housekeeper to care for their beautifully converted farmhouse while they reside in London during the week. The role involves maintaining the main house and several outbuildings, including a swimming pool, gym, and tennis court, ensuring everything is clean, tidy, and well-prepared for the family’s weekend visits. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and confident in the kitchen, ensuring the home is fully stocked and ready for use. Accommodation is provided in a private three-bedroom cottage, and the family welcomes applications from individuals, families, or domestic couples. A driver is essential, and the family will provide a choice of cars for errands. The candidate must also be a confident cook, pet-friendly, and capable of managing a large estate independently. This is a rare and rewarding opportunity for someone seeking a stable, long-term role with a kind and loyal family. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 am to 5:00 pm, Total hours per week: 40 hours per week Accommodation: Separate cottage, 3-bedroom household with its own living quarters. Welcome to bring family with them. Duties include: Taking care of the household and maintaining a clean environment. Mopping floors and vacuuming carpets. Dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces. Polishing floors and maintaining overall cleanliness. Cooking for the family. Freshening and organising rooms regularly. Managing laundry and ironing for the family. Ensuring all bedrooms are clean and tidy. Cleaning and maintaining toilets and bathrooms. Doing grocery shopping and running errands. Organising cupboards and changing bedsheets as needed.
