About the Position Our established client is a leading name within the asbestos industry known for providing outstanding asbestos management services to clients throughout the UK. The company is currently recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Administrator to join their office in the Dartford area. The successful postholder will come from a strong administrative background preferably within the asbestos industry and will demonstrate excellent organisation skills ensuring the smooth running of office tasks including scheduling site staff and works and processing paperwork. Experience in Accounts would be advantageous. Applications from Orpington, Sidcup, Bromley, and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience The applicant will have a good formal education. Experience working in this type of technical role within the asbestos industry. Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Good organisation, presentation and client facing skills are essential. Will be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package. Must be a team player but can work independently. Role Responsibilities Supporting management team. Scheduling analytical and asbestos surveys. Assist in the completion of PQQs and tenders. Collating and producing accurate documents for the company’s many clients. Handling telephone calls and any other enquiries in a professional manner. Providing effective control of the company’s documents and ensuring compliance. Ensuring the smooth running of the office. Dealing with customers and contractors alike. Getting involved with any other administration tasks as required such as filing, scanning etc. Booking in surveys and providing quotations. Creating reports from technical data received. Reporting updates to project & department managers.
