The Customer Solutions Technician is a field‑based role responsible for routine inspections, breakdown repairs, and maintenance of CCTV, video doorbell, and intruder alarm systems to meet relevant standards while delivering excellent customer service. This position offers full paid training, a company van, uniform, tools, basic salary, and a competitive incentive scheme. ADT are the name people trust to protect what’s precious to them. We safeguard over 210,000 UK properties and more than 2,000 new customers each month. Responsibilities Check correct functionality of systems including, but not limited to, battery replacement, panel and backup battery testing, activation of warning sounders, and standby battery operation. Check correct operation of all detection devices and signaling equipment to the Alarm Receiving Centre. Clean CCTV and Wi‑Fi cameras. Coordinate with the service bureau following company procedures. Accurately record details of work on the Mobile Data Device as per work instructions and codes of practice. Qualifications Full UK manual driver’s licence. Ability to carry and climb ladders, work at height, use hand and power tools safely. Strong communication, relationship‑building skills and ability to exceed customer expectations. Reliability, self‑motivation, and teamwork capability. Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Security check will be performed after offer. Preferred Electrical experience or qualifications.
