Located in a quiet nook in Chesterton, north‑eastern Cambridge, our home offers 24‑hour care to up to 51 residents. About The Role Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, the Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest service standards of cleaning are delivered, creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. Salary £12.21 per hour. Shift Pattern 16.5 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday. Home Location 20 Union Lane, Chesterton, Cambridge, CB4 1QB – 3 miles from the city centre. Key Duties & Responsibilities Ensure cleaning duties are carried out according to the cleaning schedule, maintaining the highest standard of personal presentation and hygiene. Ensure all health and safety requirements are met and infection control policies and universal precautions are followed at all times. Actively engage with residents in conversation and meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices, respecting their dignity and communication differences. Training, Skills & Experience Required Experience in a similar position is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided. A passion for care – we’re looking for a genuinely caring individual who will put the needs of our residents first.
