This exciting opportunity involves assessing vehicle damage remotely from images, ensuring efficient repair management, and streamlining the claims process. This Vehicle Image Engineer role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 to £35,000+ per annum, based on experience and qualifications. Our client is a prominent UK provider of incident and accident management solutions. They specialise in delivering data‑driven services to insurers, brokers, fleets, and manufacturers, focusing on streamlining the claims process and ensuring efficient repair management. Responsibilities Assess vehicle damage remotely from images using Proformance or similar estimating systems. Generate accurate repair estimates and reports, ensuring compliance with industry and insurer standards. Identify total loss vehicles and escalate appropriately. Categorise cases for downstream processing and further review by senior engineers. Liaise with bodyshops and repairers to clarify repairs, parts, and labour requirements. Maintain detailed records of all assessments in the company's systems. Provide feedback for continuous improvement of claims and repair processes. Opportunity to progress to more complex assessments and senior engineering or VDA roles. About You Sound technical knowledge of vehicle construction, repair methods, and total loss criteria. Experience working with bodyshops or repair networks. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems. ATA / IMI VDA qualifications (or working towards) are desirable but not essential.
