OverviewProspero teaching is looking for tutors to work with schools, Local Authorities and Virtual Schools Teams across the North West.As well as private enquires we work mainly with LAC and students who are often experiencing a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties and who are not often working to age - related levels. Therefore it would be ideal if you have some experience in this field.We are building a strong, professional and reliable team in areas such as Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale, Blackburn and Preston. If you hold a certificate in education or above and have a passion for working with a variety of young learners then we need you to join our teamTuition takes place generally in school daytime hours but also a popular time of after school 3-4pm and evening. Sessions can range between 1 - 4 hours on a daily or weekly basis. Sessions can be in a student's home. School or care home.When a referral is made, tuition needs to be put in place as soon as possible therefore you need to be flexible and contactable. The more flexible you can be the more we can build up your timetableThe individual needs to be good at working independently when tutoring off site therefore it is vital that they are organized, punctual and reliable, we have grown through or reputation so it is precious to us that this continues.Contract/Position DetailsLocation - Within the community or pupils\' homePosition - TutorType of work - ContractStart date - ASAPDuration - OngoingEnd date (if applicable) - OngoingContract type - TemporaryFull-time/part-time - Part timeMinimum rate of pay - 25 per hourHours - Working hours can differentiate, depending on the convenient timings of the familyExperience, Training and Qualifications of the English, Maths and Science TutorQTS or equivalent or tutoring experiencePossess UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essentialBe creative, patient and willing to think outside of the boxHave experience working with SEND or disengaged pupilsTo be eligible for this role, the potential Tutor mustHold the right to work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional child-related references. #J-18808-Ljbffr
