This role is pivotal in delivering and enhancing our processes - ensuring they meet evolving service needs and regulatory requirements. You’ll collaborate with service leads, project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and deliver tailored solutions. The role supports cross-departmental initiatives such as reporting, procurement, and performance tracking, and will help drive the council’s digital transformation agenda. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Power BI and SharePoint integrations. Provide technical and administrative support in the delivery of IT-related projects and web-based solutions. Liaise with service areas, users, third-party suppliers, and other web officers to deliver solutions in line with business requirements. Implement workflows based on both schedule-driven and persona-driven models. Support testing, deployment, and user onboarding processes, including managing feedback loops, iterative improvements and ensuring compliance with regulations. Provide technical documentation and training materials for stakeholders. Carry out system security maintenance tasks, including patching and user management. Comply with the Council’s policies, procedures, and Data Protection Act requirements. Person Specification Essential Skills and Experience : Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint). Experience of web technologies such as .Net, MVC, OOP languages, CMS, or the Microsoft stack. Understanding of quality assurance, UX, CX, and end-to-end service provision. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines. Good level of interpersonal skills and an effective approach to problem solving. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences. GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above (or equivalent), plus a relevant IT qualification including web-based modules. Desirable : Experience in local government or public sector digital transformation. Experience in quality assurance and accessibility requirements with #J-18808-Ljbffr
