You will work closely with pharmacy and clinical teams to ensure timely access to medicines for patients, contribute to service development and provide ward‑based medicines management. The role also includes dispensing, accuracy checking and supporting procurement processes. Main Duties Assist in the provision and development of homecare services and prescribing support. Support clinical verification of homecare prescriptions across defined specialties. Accurately dispense and check prescriptions for inpatients, outpatients and discharge. Provide ward‑based medicines management and patient counselling. Contribute to audits, financial monitoring and cost improvement strategies. Contribute to the development of a robust process to reclaim costs associated with off‑contract purchases. Train and supervise pharmacy technicians, trainees and support staff.
