Project & Intermediate Quantity Surveyor | Social Housing | London & South East | Permanent

The Role:
This emerging contractor are looking to appoint both a Qualified QS and an Intermediate QS to strengthen their commercial team across a growing portfolio of social housing planned works contracts.

You'll play an important role in cost control, supply chain management, CVRs and valuations, ensuring works are delivered compliantly, efficiently, and with strong commercial performance.
The role suits someone who's confident working across frameworks, schedule of rates, and live environments someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and being a key commercial voice within the team.

The Projects:
A steady pipeline of planned and improvement works across London & the South East, including:
• Social housing planned maintenance (kitchens, bathrooms, heating, rewires)
• External works and fabric upgrades roofing, windows, landscaping, estate improvements
• Internal and external refurbishment within occupied properties
• Retrofit and energy efficiency upgrades (retrofit experience is advantageous)
• Framework-led programmes with long-term continuity of work
Projects are live, resident-focused and require careful commercial planning, communication, and strong cost awareness.

What they're looking for:
• Professionally qualified QS (or working towards qualification)
• Experience within social housing planned works or schedule of rates contracts (NHF experience is an advantage)
• Knowledge of retrofit / energy efficiency works is beneficial
• Strong commercial skills across CVRs, valuations, subcontractor management, cost reporting and forecasting
• Confident managing packages, variations and commercial administration
• Ability to run workstreams with appropriate support, depending on experience level
• Excellent communication skills and able to work effectively with residents, client teams, site staff and the wider supply chain
