Warehouse Manager Location: Uxbridge, UK The Nippon Express Group (NX Group) is a global logistics service provider headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. With over 73,000 professionals across more than 50 countries, the Group offers air and ocean freight forwarding, cargo handling, relocation services, and warehousing operations. Responsibilities Lead and develop the Warehouse team, including Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Operatives. Oversee day‑to‑day operations in a 24/7, 365‑day logistics environment. Supervise Air and Ocean import/export logistics. Optimize distribution and fulfilment processes. Ensure compliance with CAA, GDP, H&S, and customs-bonded standards. Maintain documentation, conduct audits, and implement compliance programmes. Track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify gaps, and implement corrective actions. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including safety and quality drives and technology upgrades. Provide high‑quality customer service, resolve issues, and build strong client relationships. Create customer and internal reporting using Excel and PowerPoint. Qualifications & Experience 7‑10 years of warehouse management experience. Strong knowledge of Air & Ocean processes and freight forwarding. In‑depth understanding of CAA, GDP, H&S regulations. Proven leadership experience with team development. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Benefits Competitive salary package.
