A fantastic secondary school in Manchester is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team. This Teaching Assistant role involves supporting classes, providing 1:1 help, and working closely with the SEND department. As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist with behaviour, learning support, small-group work, and general classroom duties.

A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Manchester area is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a long-term Teaching Assistant opportunity with the potential to go temp-to-perm for the right person.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work across a range of classes and support within the SEND department. The school are looking for a confident, reliable, and proactive Teaching Assistant who can help pupils with a variety of learning, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities

Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 as a Teaching Assistant
Providing 1:1 and small-group support in lessons
Assisting class teachers with behaviour, preparation and learning resources
Working within the SEND department to help meet individual pupil needs
Helping pupils to remain focused, motivated, and engaged
Implementing strategies set by SENCOs and teachers
Offering general classroom support as a Teaching Assistant
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulationTeaching Assistant - What the School Is Looking For
