Job Title:Specialty Doctor in Adult PsychiatryGrade:Specialty DoctorHours:40 hours per weekLocation:Harrogate, YorkshireRate:Competitive – to be discussed upon applicationAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry to join a well-established NHS mental health service in Harrogate, Yorkshire. This full-time position offers the chance to work within a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care to adults experiencing a range of mental health conditions.Main Responsibilities:As a Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry, you will be involved in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adult patients with mental health disorders. You will work closely with Consultants and other members of the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, participate in ward rounds, and contribute to clinical meetings. The role includes both inpatient and community-based responsibilities, with opportunities to be involved in service development and quality improvement initiatives.Qualifications and Experience:Full GMC registration with a licence to practiseMinimum of four years’ postgraduate training, at least two of which must be in psychiatryExperience working in adult mental health settingsExcellent clinical, communication, and team-working skillsCommitment to continuous professional development and patient-centred careHow to Apply:If you are a motivated and compassionate doctor seeking to advance your career in adult psychiatry, we would love to hear from you.
