English Teacher (Maternity Cover) Location: Bromley, Kent Contract: Maternity Cover (Starting January 2026) Salary: MPS / UPS - £120 to £240 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications) Overview We are seeking an inspirational and dedicated English Teacher to join our forward‑thinking school. The Role As an English Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEND or SEMH needs. Teach across KS3 and KS4, ensuring pupils receive high‑quality, personalised learning experiences. Adapt and develop lesson plans to meet individual learning profiles. Use both classroom and outdoor learning spaces to enhance engagement. Work closely with support staff, families, and colleagues to maintain a nurturing and consistent educational environment. Contribute to a culture of high expectations and positive relationships. Specialisms in Art or Maths are also welcomed due to cross‑curricular opportunities. Candidate Requirements Qualified Teachers (QTS) or Unqualified Teachers with relevant school‑based experience. Experienced in working with learners with SEND or SEMH needs. Confident in delivering or supporting KS3/KS4 English curriculum content. Creative, adaptable, and committed to inclusive, child‑centred teaching.
