SEN Cover Supervisor (Full-time or Part-time) Location: TraffordPay: £110.00 - £130.00 per day (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)Start Date: January 2026 The School Role A specialist school in Trafford is looking for an SEN Cover Supervisor who can make a real impact on children with barriers to learning We're looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to help create inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environments where every student can thrive. Responsibilities Deliver pre-prepared lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain structure and support student success. Provide individual and small‑group support for those with autism, ADHD, and other learning needs. Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to adapt lessons and resources for accessibility. Build strong relationships to boost confidence and participation, while tracking progress and providing constructive feedback to support development. Requirements Specialist Knowledge: A strong understanding of autism, ADHD, and effective strategies to support diverse learning needs. Classroom Management: Ability to adapt to various learning environments and maintain an inclusive, structured setting. Effective Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. Passion and Commitment: Genuine dedication to supporting children with additional needs and making a meaningful impact on their development.
