Academics, a respected national education recruitment agency, is thrilled to present a brand-new opportunity for a BSL Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Walsall.

This full-time role involves providing dedicated 1:1 support. You'll be joining a nurturing mainstream school that champions inclusion, celebrates individuality, and has a strong, established SEN support team.

Key Responsibilities:

Using British Sign Language to support the pupil's communication and engagement

Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO to help meet the pupil's EHCP targets

Encouraging confidence, independence and a positive attitude to learning

Helping create a nurturing and accessible learning experience as a BSL Teaching Assistant every day

We Would Love to Hear From You If You:

Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in BSL (essential)

Are able to work full-time in the Walsall area

Are patient, reliable, and passionate about helping young learners thrive
