Human by nature.Site Operations Controller - Your future role?As the Site Operations Controller in Ashford, you will direct site controlling activities for all departments present on site. You will support the business controlling network by supplying local information and provide business support to the local operations Manager to and compliance.Be the member of the Site Operations Management Team ensuringFull finance integration into operationsSupport and achieve process improvement programmes at a site levelActive involvement and challenge of decisionsYour Main ResponsibilitiesReportingProvide analyses and interpretations of financial information to various functional management and partners., including Group Controlling, Division, Controlling, Operations Controlling, Functional Controlling (e.g. IT, Purchasing, HR)Site SupportProvide recommendations on inventory managementCoordinate the annual budget process for the siteParticipate in site operations meetings to stay informed of site activities and provide finance support/action where requiredCost AnalysisManage annual and periodic requirements of costing activities and analysis of COGSProvide detailed product costing analysis and support management in the evaluation of product costs.Analyse process order and product level variances on a monthly basis and work with the operations team to resolve and correct costing issues.Review COGS summary with managementCoordinate changes in master templates with local operationsContribute to recipe templates from a costing perspectiveAnalyse and explain local product marginsRespond promptly to pricing/commercial controlling requestsFinancial Performance AnalysisAnalyze and coordinate activities associated with operations performance on siteContribute as an active member in site projects that move process/cost improvements (i.e., Supply Chain, CI, Utilities, Maintenance)Support site management in the development and analysis of business plans, budgets, forecasts, cost savings opportunitiesPerform ad-hoc and proactive analysis of the monthly Measurements and provide site and operational management with interpretive and predictive information for decision-makingParticipate in forecasting and mid-to long-term planning for the factorySupport management in the strategic decision-making for the sitePerform regular cost centre and investment reviews and follow-ups. Drive resolutions of variance issuesFinancial Analysis & ReportingSupport requirements associated with the month-end financial closeReview the analysis of the site P&L and identify variances vs. budget, last year and outlook.
