Greater London, United Kingdom Swan Analytical USA Full time

Join to apply for the Lead Product Interface Designer role at Swan Analytical USA. Location: London, England, United Kingdom. About Nothing: Nothing exists to make tech feel exciting again. We're building a different kind of technology company, one that puts design, emotion, and human creativity at the heart of everything we do. From the way our products look and feel to how we communicate and show up in culture, we believe technology should make you feel something. Founded in London in 2020, we’ve grown from idea to global challenger in just a few years. Backed by GV (Google Ventures), EQT Ventures, C Ventures, and investors like Tony Fadell, Casey Neistat, and Kevin Lin, we are now sold in 40+ markets with millions of users worldwide. The Role As a Lead Product Interface Designer, you'll work within the multi‑disciplinary Industrial Design Team in King’s Cross, London, alongside designers, creative technologists, and engineers to invent, prototype, and ship the technology of the future. We are looking for an expert‑level design practitioner to help us imagine our next generation of product interfaces, interactions, and features. The right candidate might have trained in Industrial Design, Engineering, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Graphic Design or Human Factors, but today you will be an incredible digital craftsperson whose bread‑and‑butter is creating boundary‑pushing graphics, UI concepts, and motion. You will also have strong professional experience interfacing with the hardware domain—designing tactile controls such as buttons and dials, or small wearable displays—an experience that is non‑negotiable for a hardware company. You’ll be responsible for running projects independently, managing your own schedule and tasks, and defining the technical product requirements so your work can become reality. What We Expect From All Of Our Designers Interesting and original concept generation Creative and collaborative problem solving Excellent visual and verbal communication Meticulous attention to detail Confidence designing for a brand with bold aesthetic direction and a clear vision Amazing collaboration skills Great taste As a Lead Product Interface Designer We'll Expect World‑class concept‑generation and digital design skills, with the ability to craft pixel‑perfect assets. Wizard‑level proficiency at both Figma and After Effects. A hunger to research, conceive, specify and pitch new interaction systems, novel features, and whole product concepts. Experience designing interaction systems that intersect hardware and software – this is not just a digital design job. A product person who can speak the same language as engineers (software + hardware) to communicate clearly and solve problems together. Project management skills. Most of all, we’re looking for creative people who see the world like we do. If you think that’s you, please get in touch.
