Water Treatment Business Development Manager – Coventry

Our high-profile client is a leading name within the water treatment/water hygiene industry. They are now actively recruiting for a commercially focused and self-driven Water Treatment Business Development Manager based in and around the Coventry area. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in a similar position within the water treatment industry and will contribute their wealth of knowledge of growing and developing business leads within an already established water treatment consultancy. Applications from Derby, Leicester, Kettering, Redditch, and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience The individual must come from a strong educational, chemical, consultancy technical, management, accounts, sales and office background. Good working knowledge and understanding of the water treatment industry and legislations. Experience in a business development role within the water sector. Excellent communication skills. Competent with Microsoft office package. Key Responsibilities Generating new business leads. Selling the company’s water treatment consultancy services. Secure and develop new accounts, whilst managing existing ones. Carrying out service visits and managing workload efficiently. Management of cooling tower, steam boiler, hot and cold water systems, etc. Building and maintaining a good working relationship with the company’s large and mixed portfolio of clients. Dealing with any issues appropriately and effectively. Producing quotations and tenders. KPI’s. Achieving set target and goals. Writing reports and attending meetings to discuss findings. Dealing with training of staff. Attributes The successful candidate will be confident of their ability to take the business to the next level.
