This role involves shaping and executing the commercial strategy for partnerships for the frasersplus product, expanding market presence to deliver sustainable growth.This key role is expected to be multi-skilled to operate at multiple levels internally and a diverse range of businesses externally.Strategy and PlanningDevelop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company goalsConduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, strategies for different verticals and opportunities for expansionDefine and track KPIs to measure growth performanceEstablish a sales model to drive additional revenue from additional featureConduct competitor analysis to understand market and competitor trajectories and opportunitiesLead Generation and Business GrowthIdentify and secure new business opportunities across existing and new marketsEstablish a strong pipeline of leads to convert into salesSkilled in multiple forms of lead generation, from Face to Face, Virtual, Linked In, Running webinars and developing sales materialBuild and maintain sales material and sales artefacts (incl web page)Lead sales to contract and handover to implementation teamExpand strategic partnerships seeking additional opportunitiesTeam DevelopmentRun sessions within FGFS to ensure senior stakeholders are aware of pipeline opportunities and riskEnsure compliance and risk are bought into potential new partners in the pipelinePrepare to establish and manage a small team to seek new opportunities – ensure no single points of failureEnsure any partner challenges are addressed and processes to secure partners improveBe aware of new development and features of the product and help develop monetisable partner solutions on the productQualifications5+ years of business development or commercial leadership experience, with at least 3+ in a senior leadership role.Experience in scaling businesses, ideally in UK Retail Sector with Lending Financial Services businessesAwareness of relevant FCA UK regulation in respect of lending and promoting lending productsStrong knowledge of BNPL or equivalent products and key featuresAbility to adapt tactics to gain leads and secure businessExtensive contacts in the UK Retail Sector established alreadySelf motivated and proactive – willing to travel across the UK as required to meet potential partnersExcellent presentation skills and competent in MS Office applicationsRelevant degree in Business, Economics, Finance or EquivalentAs FGFS is within a regulated environment any offer is subject to satisfactory background checks including criminal record check, credit check, and employment references.Reward, Recognition and OpportunitiesFrasers Champion- Our employees are at the heart of our business and we ensure individuals are recognised every single month for their hard work.
