Relief Care Supervisor Join to apply for the Relief Care Supervisor role at McCarthy Stone. Vacancy McCarthy Stone are recruiting a professional Relief Care Supervisor to join our team at our prestigious Pym Court development in Topsham, Exeter. Built in 2022, Pym Court is a Retirement Living Plus development that consists of 53 apartments for residents over 70 with excellent on‑site facilities set within beautiful grounds. Hourly rate: £15.75 per hour day rate and £12.24 per hour sleeping night rate. Plus an additional £1 per hour for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday. Hours: To cover shifts on an ‘as and when’ basis when required, to be discussed with the development Manager. Day shifts vary between 08:45‑16:30 or 16:15‑09:30. Night shifts are from 21:30‑09:00am. Relief Care Supervisors sleep between 23:00‑07:00 providing emergency support only to our homeowners during that period. About You Live within easy commuting distance of our estate. Warm, friendly, organised, and self‑motivated with experience in a care or support environment and excellent care skills. Desire to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably hold a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification (or alternative qualifications and relevant experience). Capable of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams. Able to co‑ordinate and facilitate activities that strengthen the community spirit within the development. Driven to continue growing skills, leading by example and thinking on feet.
