The successful applicant will be able demonstrate clinical knowledge relevant to our core rotations in Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Respiratory Care, Medicine, Critical Care and Frailty. We are looking for an individual who is flexible to the needs of the service and has excellent time management and communication skills. The ability to work as part of a team is essential in order to provide an effective and efficient service. The successful applicant will be supported in their development by Senior Physiotherapists in each clinical area alongside attendance at our Trust Preceptorship Programme. They will also have the opportunity to take part in dedicated monthly training sessions for our Rotational Physiotherapists and to receive peer support from rotational colleagues. Please note that the successful candidate will be required to pay for their own DBS disclosure. This cost will be deducted from the first salary payment. Main duties of the job To assess, treat and educate patients referred to the Physiotherapy service, under the guidance of more senior staff. Hours will be worked to support seven day service delivery where appropriate. This is a rotational post and as such there is a requirement for the post holder to work flexibly across a range of specialities, in accordance with workload priorities. May require participation within a community rotation. To participate in the respiratory on‑call and weekend service following completion of a comprehensive training and supervision package.
