Join Atlas Technica now As the Security Team Lead at Atlas Technica, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive security program to protect our clients' data, systems, and infrastructure. Your expertise in cybersecurity and risk management will be critical in ensuring that our operations meet industry standards and regulatory requirements while providing a secure environment for our clients. This position is classified as a 100% dedicated to one of our high‑profile customers. It’s a great opportunity to join a financial industry‑focused MSP and working with client stakeholders with high security expectations. You will be part of a dedicated Atlas Team to the client working on providing a stable and secure environment. Responsibilities Collaborate with managers and directors to develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy and roadmap that aligns with business objectives. Identify and prioritize security initiatives and projects to enhance the overall security posture. Act as escalation point for security related incidents to engineers. Assist with developing, reviewing, and enforcing security policies, standards, and procedures in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Ensure that employees and clients are aware of and adhere to these policies. Work with vendors to conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, such as security controls and incident response plans, to minimize risks to Atlas and its clients. Oversee the day‑to‑day security operations, including monitoring and analysis of security events, incidents, and breaches. Manage security tools and technologies to detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents effectively. Lead incident response activities in the event of a security breach or cyber‑attack. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including clients, to contain the incident, investigate its root cause, and implement measures to prevent future occurrences. Collaborate with managers and directors to develop and deliver security awareness and training programs to educate clients about security best practices, policies, and emerging threats. Promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization. Manage relationships, products and services provided by security vendors and third‑party service providers. Evaluate and recommend security products to fit client security needs and requirements. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to information security. Ensure compliance with applicable security requirements and participate in audits and assessments. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation and runbooks related to security incidents, investigations, and remediation efforts. Generate regular reports for executive management and clients to communicate security status, metrics, and improvements. Collaborate with client management to provide strategic direction and guidance on security‑related matters. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security principles into business processes and initiatives. Requirements Proven experience in a leadership role within the technology domain, preferably in the MSP or IT services industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of security technologies, tools, and methodologies, including SIEM, vulnerability management, and identity and access management. Deep understanding of technology trends, cybersecurity concepts, and IT infrastructure. Strong business acumen and the ability to align security initiatives with strategic business goals. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Desirable Qualities In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, best practices, and regulations, with a focus on the alternative investment industry. Experience in incident response, threat intelligence, and security operations management. Strong leadership and management abilities, with experience in building and leading high‑performing security teams. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute security strategies, policies, and procedures. Experience in conducting security assessments, audits, and incident response management. Experience with network security products such as Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls or Prisma Cloud is a plus. Familiarity with cloud security and experience in securing cloud environments is a plus. Experience with SIEM products is a plus.
