Overview We currently have permanent opportunities for a Quality System Monitor to join our technical team in Willand, Devon. We have vacancies on a number of shift patterns: This post is working the AM or PM shift Shift option 1 - 5:30am - 2:30pm (Monday to Friday with an early finish of 1:30pm on Tuesday) Shift option 2 - 5am - 3:15pm (3 weekly rotating shift pattern) Shift option 3 - 3:30pm - 0:00am (Monday to Friday) The rate of pay is: £12.56 per hour Responsibilities Monitor the Food Safety and Quality Management Systems across the factory to ensure continuous operational and technical integrity. Identify and report any areas of non-conformity, ensuring affected food products are quarantined appropriately and only released once compliance is confirmed. Conduct label and traceability verification checks to ensure accuracy and full product compliance with legal and customer standards. Monitor and record product temperatures as part of routine quality assurance procedures. Verify scales and weights to maintain consistency with both regulatory standards and customer specifications. Perform regular metal detection verification to uphold product safety and prevent contamination. Carry out quality control checks to ensure finished products meet both customer requirements and internal quality benchmarks. Provide support for additional verification and compliance activities across all stages of production and packaging, as required. Ideal Candidate As our ideal candidates you'll demonstrate that you have: Attention to detail Recording and monitoring skills Good communication and presentation skills Previous experience in a similar role would be preferable.
