Awards & Partnership Manager

Location We work remotely, but you must be able to easily access London for our events and partner meetings. About The Role We are a growing team with ambitious plans, and we are looking for someone who doesn't just want a job, but a journey. We view this role as a clear pathway to eventually leading the wider awards programme. We operate at the forefront of two of the most resilient and rapidly growing sectors: cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Joining the team means stepping into a recession-proof industry where you will be at the beating heart of the sector, witnessing cutting-edge technology come to life. As the Awards & Partnership Manager, you will be the linchpin connecting our sponsors, judges, finalists, and partners. However, we operate with the agility and spirit of a small, tight-knit team. We are looking for someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and 'muck in' wherever necessary to get the job done. This environment offers a unique advantage: you will not be a cog in a wheel. You will have a genuine opportunity to actively shape the strategic direction and future of our events. If you are organised, commercially minded, and ready to make your mark on the national stage, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities Sponsorship & Partner Management Account Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for existing sponsors, managing relationships throughout the entire awards cycle. Value Delivery: Ensure the flawless delivery of all sponsor entitlements, including branding, judging processes, PR, and event attendance. Commercial Growth: Review and elevate partnership agreements annually; identify opportunities to upgrade sponsor packages to drive revenue and increased value. Strategic Partnerships: Identify, source, and onboard new strategic partners (industry associations, media, government bodies) that align with the awards' prestige. ROI Reporting: Manage post-event reporting, providing sponsors with exposure metrics, lead generation data, and proof of value delivery. Judges & Advisory Panel Management Recruitment: Recruit and onboard high-profile, experienced, industry experts to sit on our judging panels and advisory boards. Committee Leadership: Organise and lead advisory meetings, setting agendas that drive the strategic direction of the awards. Management of Judges: Organise and lead our judges through the judging process of each awards, deepen relationships with our judging panels whilst supporting the promotion of the awards programs. Awards Management Category Strategy: Define award categories and entry criteria in consultation with industry experts to reflect current tech trends. Process Management: Define judging criteria and scoring rubrics; manage the online judging portals to ensure a smooth experience for all stakeholders. Conflict of Interest: Implement and police strict policies regarding conflicts of interest for judges, partners, and sponsors to maintain the integrity of the awards. Entry Management: Oversee the validation, scoring, and shortlisting process; manage the refinement and clarification of entries where necessary. Finalist Logistics: Manage all communications with finalists regarding assets, bios, and event logistics; ensure all collateral is gathered for the website and event night. Alumni Engagement: Build a community strategy to keep previous finalists and winners engaged for future cycles. Communication & Compliance Stakeholder Comms: Execute a communication strategy for judges and entrants, including newsletters, FAQs, and training sessions. Data & Systems: Maintain accurate and secure scoring systems / spreadsheets. Ensure all finalist and sponsor data is handled in strict compliance with GDPR. Skills & Requirements Essential Experience: Proven experience in awards management, event operations, or partnership / account management (ideally within the B2B or Tech sector). Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders (CEOs, Government Officials, Industry Leaders) with diplomacy and confidence. Operational Rigour: Strong project management skills with an ability to manage complex timelines, scoring systems, and logistical details flawlessly. Commercial Acumen: The ability to understand what drives value for sponsors and the confidence to upsell or refine packages to increase commercial viability. Integrity: A strong understanding of the importance of neutrality and fairness in an awards context. Desirable Knowledge of the Cyber Security or AI landscape. Experience using awards management software Evessio. Experience in community building or alumni management. Why work here? At Future Tech Events, you will be at the heart of the conversation regarding the future of technology, helping to platform the unrecognised heroes of the Cyber and AI industries. We believe that high performance shouldn't come at the cost of personal balance. We are a results-oriented team that values output over presenteeism, offering a culture of trust and flexibility. The Package & Perks True Flexibility: We work a 40-hour week, but we trust you to manage your own time. Our core collaboration hours are 10:00 – 15:00; outside of that, you have the freedom to structure your day to suit your lifestyle. Remote Working: This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. Generous Leave: We offer 23 days holiday (plus all Bank Holidays). On top of this, we have a Christmas Shutdown period so the whole team gets a proper break, and you get your Birthday off guaranteed. Wellbeing First: Your health matters. We provide an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and a dedicated wellbeing app to support your mental and physical wellness. About Future Tech Events Future Tech Events is a dynamic, growing event business with a national footprint and international ambitions. While our team is small and tight-knit, our impact is significant. It is important to note that we are not an agency. We are an independent business that owns, operates, and curates its own portfolio of proprietary events. We are the creators and custodians of the UK's most prestigious technology accolades: The National Cyber Awards: Honouring excellence, innovation, and leadership within the cyber security sector. The National AI Awards: Celebrating the pioneers and revolutionary advancements in Artificial Intelligence. But we aren't stopping there. We are currently in a significant growth phase, with plans to expand our portfolio and launch exciting new event brands in the near future. We have big ambitions to reshape the tech events landscape, and we are looking for people who want to be builders, not just passengers. Because we are a small team chasing big goals, we operate with a 'roll-up-your-sleeves' culture. We need individuals who are happy to muck in where needed to help the company grow. In return, this offers you a rare opportunity: you won't just be executing a process; you will be helping to write the playbook, shaping the future of the business as we scale. #J-18808-Ljbffr
