Base pay range Direct message the job poster from Intec Select Overview We are looking for an experienced Interim Portfolio Delivery Lead to take ownership of the organisation’s programme and project portfolio. This role is centred on driving delivery of the agreed portfolio plan, ensuring robust governance, transparent reporting, and consistent execution across all initiatives. The successful candidate will bring clarity, structure, and momentum, working closely with senior leaders to maintain pace, manage priorities, and provide assurance across a complex delivery landscape. Key Responsibilities Lead the PMO function, embedding consistent standards, controls, and governance across the portfolio Own end-to-end delivery oversight of the agreed portfolio plan, tracking progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies Provide clear, accurate, and timely portfolio-level reporting to executive and senior leadership Ensure effective resource planning, capacity management, and prioritisation across programmes and projects Maintain and enhance PMO frameworks, tools, and processes to support efficient delivery Support and challenge Programme and Project Managers, providing guidance and escalation where required Actively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring appropriate mitigation and informed decision-making Serve as a key interface between delivery teams and senior stakeholders Ensure all initiatives remain aligned to organisational priorities and available capacity Proven experience as a Head of PMO, Portfolio Lead, or senior PMO leader, ideally in an interim or contract role Strong background in portfolio, programme, and project delivery, with a clear focus on execution and outcomes Demonstrable experience establishing and running effective PMO governance and reporting frameworks Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence operating at executive and senior leadership level Strong planning, prioritisation, and resource management expertise Experience working within complex, multi-project environments Clear, concise communication and high-quality reporting capability Pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset with the ability to provide stability, assurance, and momentum Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Consulting Industries Technology, Information and Media and IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
