Part-Time Level 2/Level 3 Nursery Practitioner ColchesterFlexible Hours Monday FridayTemporary Position with Opportunity to Go Permanent A fantastic opportunity has become available for a caring and enthusiastic Level 2/Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a warm, welcoming early years setting in Colchester. This is a part-time position with flexible hours across Monday to Friday, making it ideal for candidates who need a role that fits around other commitments. The role starts on a temporary basis, but if you re looking for something long-term, the nursery is very happy to consider a permanent position for the right person. About the Role As a Nursery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include: Creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment for children aged 0 5 Supporting and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS Observing, recording and contributing to children s learning and development Building warm and positive relationships with children, families and colleagues Supporting children s personal, social and emotional development Ensuring safeguarding, welfare and health & safety procedures are followed Working as part of a supportive, friendly and collaborative team What We re Looking For The ideal candidate will have: A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare A genuine passion for supporting children s development Good communication skills and a team-focused approach A positive, nurturing and proactive attitude Flexibility to work part-time hours throughout the week About the Nursery This Colchester nursery is known for its warm, community-driven feel, thoughtfully designed rooms and strong focus on child-led learning.
