Prospectus is delighted to work with the foundation to recruit a Funding Operations Administrator on a full‑time basis. This role will be a key member of the Operations Team, providing broad administrative support in all aspects of the organisation’s work. A hybrid working model is in place, requiring at least two days per week in the Kings Cross office (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) with the remainder working flexibly from home. The role This role contributes to the delivery of the foundation’s strategy by providing comprehensive support to the resources, operations and funding teams, ensuring a smooth and efficient running of the organisation. Key responsibilities include arranging meeting rooms, reception duty, preparing reports for Trustee meetings, organising and minuting meetings, and supporting the logistics of convening events and seminars. The position also involves data input, analysis and reporting using the Salesforce Database, supporting the funding team with day‑to‑day queries, and carrying out initial eligibility assessments of expressions of interest from potential applicants. The person The successful candidate will have experience working in a busy office‑based environment, with a strong background in CRM databases and a proven record of delivering excellent customer service internally and externally. They will be highly organised, detail oriented, and naturally helpful, with a keen willingness to learn and develop new skills. Strong IT skills, systematic and methodical work habits, problem‑solving ability, and effective multi‑tasking under tight deadlines are essential. Good verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a vision for the importance of administrative support in achieving charitable objectives, are also required. They should be a real team player, capable of working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
