Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Teach students about food preparation, nutrition, hygiene, and safety.
Support students in developing practical cooking skills and theoretical knowledge.
Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement.
Prepare lesson materials, resources, and practical demonstrations.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed in the food technology classroom.
Work closely with colleagues and contribute to the school's wider curriculum.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching

Food Technology

in a secondary school setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, nutrition, and health & safety regulations.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
A valid DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
