Product Design Engineer - Glamorgan - up to £45,000 + Benefits - Ref 1965 I am currently recruiting for a Product Design Engineer to work for a cutting-edge technology company based in Glamorgan. Salary up to £45,000 + Benefits. The organisation has been in operation for many years and are worldwide leaders within the design, development, and manufacture of their highly intelligent products. As a business they turnover north of £85m, employ 500 people and are constantly evolving their legacy products as well as designing and developing new innovative products to bring to market. In line with demand for their products and to support the business with their growth plans they have the need to appoint another Product Design Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role as a Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing products from concept to manufacture. This will involve new product development as well as supporting legacy products and it will be a front-end focused role, paying particular attention to the aesthetics and ergonomics. This role may have you involved in packaging design as well. Essential Requirements: 1st of 2.1 Degree in Product Design Engineering or similar A minimum of 2 years experience as a Product Design Engineer or similar 3D CAD (Ideally Solidworks) Experience designing Plastic Injection Moulded components Experience with DFM / DFA This is a fantastic opportunity for a Product Design Engineer to work for a growing company who are working with some of the most advanced technology available.
