Wraparound Care Assistant – Gorseland Primary School Location: Gorseland Primary School, Ipswich, Suffolk IP5 3QR. Contract: Permanent; Required as soon as possible Reference: 8197 Salary: £24,796 – £25,185 pro rata Hours: 12.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year* Schedule: 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday Key Responsibilities Provide support to children in the After School Club. Assist with breakfast club duties when required. Collaborate with teachers, carers and staff to create a safe, inclusive learning environment. Maintain accurate records and adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies. Required Skills and Experience Recent, relevant experience working with children. Childcare qualification desirable. Ability to work effectively in a team and with a range of stakeholders. Patience, kindness and high expectations for children and staff.
