Family Practitioner

We are looking for enthusiastic Family Practitioners to join our team in Stafford, supporting children and families to remain together where safe. You will play a key role in working with children, young people, families and carers, providing crisis intervention and collaborating with social workers. Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required. Main Responsibilities Leading on early help assessments and plans Working together with social workers to support children in need Contributing to parenting assessments Supporting mediation, crisis prevention, conflict resolution and life‑story work Supporting accurate documentation, reports and records relating to work with children, young people and their families The Ideal Candidate Minimum NVQ Level 3 related to working with children and families or relevant experience Experience of supporting children and families within their homes, delivering direct work and engaging creatively with children, families and carers Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends Current UK driving licence and vehicle But above all, bring the desire to work with children and families to give them the right support, at the right time, with the aim of keeping families together where it’s safe to do so.
