Filmhouse (Edinburgh) Ltd. (FEL) is a new charitable company established to relaunch and operate Filmhouse, Scotland's leading cultural cinema. Our vision is for Filmhouse to be a world-class cinema for Scotland's capital, contributing to the common good by connecting people with the full diversity of cinematic forms. After significant progress in fundraising and planning, we are now underway with a major renovation of the premises at 88 Lothian Road, and plan to re-open the cinema in early summer 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the work of the marketing team at Filmhouse. The Marketing Officer will support the Marketing Manager in the planning and delivery of all Filmhouse marketing activities, covering the full breadth of promotional and communication work for the cinema, encompassing public programme, brand profile, education, learning and engagement activity, hospitality, memberships, and fundraising.
The role is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, including daytime, evening, and weekend work as required for the proper performance of the role. TOIL will be applicable for weekend work. The role will be based on-site at Filmhouse on Lothian Road.
Salary: £26,000 per annum.
