Manufacturing ManagerLocation: ManchesterSalary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annumContract: Permanent, Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe're looking for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead a busy wood workshop team and oversee the production. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll balance time on the shop floor with office‑based planning and coordination. Overseeing risk assessment, HSE standards and work safe environments are being met.You'll play a key part in ensuring projects run smoothly from sales order through to installation, maintaining exceptional standards of quality and on‑time delivery.Culture & FitWe value a down‑to‑earth, adaptable approach and a sense of humour. You'll thrive in a close‑knit team where variety and occasional challenges keep things interesting.What We're Looking ForEssential:Proven experience in Wood ManufacturingStrong leadership skills with a hands‑on approachAbility to manage workflow from sales order to installationConfident communicator with problem‑solving skills across multiple stakeholdersSkilled in resource planning and production coordinationDBS check required (basic level)Desirable:Management qualificationsKnowledge of Lean, 5S, or Continuous Improvement practicesExperience with installation logistics and project coordinationKey ResponsibilitiesManage day‑to‑day workshop operations, scheduling, and resource planningAct as the link between sales, design, and installation teamsEnsure quality, safety, and timely delivery across all projectsOversee client‑specific requirements such as colours, specifications, and delivery schedulesLead and support a team of skilled joiners, fostering a positive and productive environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
